Measure upper diameter and stem profile with
TruPulse Dendroscope and Field-Map Dendroscope app

TruPulse is a lightweight laser range-finder and inclinometer optionally combined with electronic compass.                            
An optional reticle makes it possible to measure tree and  branch diameters at various heights. The accuracy of diameters measured by the scope depends on the measurement distance.  

Usually the measurement error is within 0.5-1 cm for diameters around 30-50 cm. Moreover, TruPulse Dendroscope has an  
additional reticle for angle count sampling (basal area factors 0.5, 1, 2 and 4). The Dendroscope provides the functionality of relascope® including automatic slope correction.

Fied-Map Dendroscope is a software application developed for tablets and Windows-based computers.

The application allows to measure remote diameter in requested height (relative or absolute), take and store picture using internal camara in tablet for every tree and measure detailed tree stem profile.

The total volume is automatically counted after the stem profile measurement. There is a further volume calculation available (for example: volume without stump, merchantable volume).

The measured data can be stored in the clipboard or exported to MS Excel.
